Theres certainly a conversation to be had on whether Quarter Arcades machines are proper gaming systems.
Would I recommend this Bubble Bobble machine over something like theEvercade Alpha?

It certainly manages to pull that off, although Im surprised that the visuals lack scanlines.
Onto sound, and the Quarter Arcades Taito Bubble Bobbles 3W speakers are surprisingly punchy.
One of the Quarter Arcade’s more surprising features is the inclusion of a built-in lithium battery.
Youd think youd need Barbie hands to use either, yet your thumbs will fare just fine.
Naturally, everything about this setup is squished, but Id argue thats all part of the novelty.
